Proudly co-owned with Rogue Suri and Shambalah Alpaca Ranch! Alaskan Gold is more than we could have ever hoped for in a Suri male. He has an incredible show record with 11 - 1st Place wins, 5 - Championships, and was awarded the prestigious Judges Choice award twice, one at Futurity! Alaskan Gold is out of Whirlwynd and by the great Lazy G's Accoyo Goldstar. His pedigree is dense! Density seems to elude many alpacas, even if they have nice fleece. Alaskan Gold sheared 13.4 lbs and ranked TOP 1% in BOTH Fleece Weight AND Staple Length for all EPD samples submitted in 2016! All of the judges he showed under gave credit to his fleece characteristics and appreciated his stout and straight conformation as well. Alaskan Gold has already put some amazing crias on the ground so far and we anticipate many more to come! We can't wait to see what this boy can do in our herds! Closed to outside breedings.
